Food is ❤️❤️❤️

Who would not agree with me? 😁Who would not like street foods and exploring the different cuisines around the world? We are just so lucky that nowadays we've been so close to these opportunities, not needing to travel million miles just to taste one specific food we are so curious about.

Here in United Arab Emirates, it's been observed that they are now becoming open to accept different cultures and one way of showing their support is through events that showcase the environment of different countries. We've been seeing a lot of food festivals from World Trade Center, Hotels and now here in Reem Island. This time, they focused with ASIAN countries which serves famous street foods and delicacies from Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We really enjoined the food from Indonesia called Satay, its a combination of grilled chicken, rice cake, pickled veggies and krupuk crackers. Its so mouth watering specially with their sweet and peanut butter sauce, absolutely yummy!

Not only that, we've tried also some delicacies like Pineapple Tart from Singapore, Two types of Krupuk Crackers from Indonesia and Air Kausar drink Brunei. A combination of sweet and salty snacks really boost our mood on that day!

ONE FINE DAY FULL OF SATISFACTION

My Friday night was fun and I am happy of what I've encounter that day. I was able to taste some foods that I wasn't usually see or eat and that's pretty amazing. The world now is so approachable and adaptable from its different areas. Imagine with this new innovation, communication and technologies we can now experience a lot of things without leaving your place nor country. Thanks to the initiatives of the event organizer, ASEAN Committee Abu Dhabi (ACAD) and ASEAN Ladies Circle (ALC).
