My setup from a shoot with a local cafe

Hi all,

I thought you'd be interested and see the setup I used earlier today when I took some photos for a local cafe here in Hampstead. It's pretty simple with just 1 light and a reflector to fill in the shadows. I normally take one shot with the reflector and one without as some clients prefer more contrast.

I use a ELB 400 with a Elinchrom 120cm Deep Umbrella to the right of the main camera which is on a tripod, but I also have a camera mounted above the table for the overhead shots.

Took around a 100 photos with a mix of their lunch dishes, cakes, pastries and shakes.

Any questions let me know!
