IBIZA: The San Carlos Pizza Gem

Who doesn't like pizza, right?

On the island there are few amazing pizza places.
The pizzas they serve are equally delicious, and little different at the same time.

This tiny, little gem in San Carlos, is definitely one of the best in Ibiza and we just love it.

It is a funky takeaway place but also offers an option to eat in.

The pizzas are simply delicious. This is the only place I know, that serves pizzas on a whole meal flour base. The base is very thin, crispy and light, so you don’t feel as heavy and full after the indulgence. Having a whole one to yourself is definitely not a challenge.

Their cheeseless Marinara is excellent so if you are vegan or can't have dairy, there is something for you too.

There used to be no real plates or cutlery, till very recently the pizzas were served on paper boxes cut in half. Now they have changed it to large paper plates, you will also find super cute, wooden cutlery.

You can sit outside and share the large table with a friendly stranger or you can eat in, on a quirky little blue table. Super cute.

Most people pick up the pizza to-go, but we always eat in. There is something special about eating in one of those tiny tables; off paper plate, people watching and soaking in the very friendly vibe. Plus in my opinion, no pizza is the same by the time you arrive home, that freshness makes all the difference.

Although if you come here on a busy summer night you may struggle to find somewhere to sit, so taking it with you maybe just a right thing to do. I love the idea of an evening Pizza picnic, down one of the nearby beaches.

The place is called Pizzería ENFARINARTE and majority of the times that we have been there, it's super busy - which says it all.

I remember once, walking in, and finding out that the wait is 1.5 hours. The very friendly guy behind the bar recommends to call ahead to have your pizza ready for when you arrive.

Second time you come here, I almost guarantee you will be recognized, third time they will know your name. It’s always a bonus when they treat you like a rockstar.

There is something very unique about this place. It’s vibe is so very authentic.

I love supporting small businesses that care about their clients and about their products providing, over all, a simply great experience.

This place ticks all these boxes and feeds with an amazing pizza.

Make sure you add Pizzería ENFARINARTE to your list of cheap, great restaurants in Ibiza. This little gem is also open most of the winter, which is an extra bonus.
