First Lousang of 2018!! at S'mores Tropicana City Mall

Lousang AKA

Yusheng, yee sang or yuu sahng (Chinese: 魚生; pinyin: yúshēng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: hî-seⁿ or hû-siⁿ), or Prosperity Toss, also known as lo hei (Cantonese for 撈起 or 捞起) is a Cantonese-style raw fish salad. It usually consists of strips of raw fish (sometimes salmon), mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. Yusheng literally means "raw fish" but since "fish (魚)" is commonly conflated with its homophone "abundance (余)", Yúshēng (魚生) is interpreted as a homophone for Yúshēng (余升) meaning an increase in abundance. Therefore, yusheng is considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor.

It's like our annual thing to do before CNY (Chinese New Year) or During CNY. This year around we wanna try something different, no more typical Chinese restaurant foods!

It's very hard to gather everyone together as everyone have their own schedule, but I am grateful that everyone can spare some time out just for this. Unfortunately, we are still missing 1 person as she has fallen sick just before the dinner. BOO HOOOOO (we video called her and make her sad!!! HAHAHAHAHHA)

We chosen to dine in S'mores Tropicana City Mall this year. Nothing fancy just to try something different for Lousang dinner.

We ordered foods to be shared among ourselves so everyone get to eat every dishes/foods we order.

Porky Nara - It's Carbonara but with a different name, served in Linguine-Like noodles.

Fish & Cheese - A chuck of Fish baked with Cheese on top on a bed of potatoes wedges. Nothing special tho.

Smoked Salmon Pizza

Nasi Haram (Illegal Rice) - It's actually Nasi Lemak served with Pork Rendang. The Pork Rendang is tender and very mild is spiciness.

Porky Platter - A platter consist of pork ribs, pork german sausage, siew york (roasted pork) and mashed potatoes. The siew york are the bomb! crispy skins with tender juicy meat and fat that melt in your mouth.

There will always have Lousang if not it will not consider as a Lousang dinner!

Lastly, a group photo is always a much! (someone left early due to personal matter)
