What Do We do With Egg Plans? We Grilled Them
Hello, I would like to share how we cook delicious egg plant in a simple way, yet delicious. Well, I was not the one who did the cooking entirely. I was just an assistant cook in my family.😁
It's fresh egg plants we bought from a local farmer.
We got some fresh egg plant from a farmer who live near us. So, these egg plants were fresh since picked up that very morning.
There are plenty of ways of preparing the egg plants from boiling, frying or making soup. This time we would just grill them on a our traditional stove.

I was in charge to keep the fire on.
We also prepared sambal or condiment (as always). For this we needed chili, tomato, garlic, shrimp paste and salt.
We also grilled the chilies and the tomatoes.
We grilled the tomatoes, chilies and the garlic. When they were ready, we crushed them with pestle or mortar so all ingredients mixed together. Finally, we put this sambal on a serving bowl.

And finally the egg plants were ready and so was the sambal. I like the sweet taste of the grilled egg plants. And when mixed with sambal, the taste become more rich.
