Celebrating @ahmadturki's Birthday

Yesterday I set up a birthday celebration for two of the leads in my company. Mark and @ahmadturki. It's a rare occasion where two people actually have the dame birthdays on the same day, usually we would celebrate everyone who is within the week or the month together but this was exactly on the same day.

I have decided two places that have good dining experience and the after party location nearby. My first choice was actually The Good Batch who serves western cuisine and later we would head up to Hyde at m51, a private bar lounge to drink. Then my second choice was Muito Bom Brazilian BBQ Buffet and next to it was Souled Out, a cheap drinking place. I picked Muito Bom because we had 17 people coming and looking at the pandemic SOPs, only MuitoBom had the space to cater for such large crowd.

The Brazilian BBQ Buffet was a new experience for some where you have the passador bring huge chunks of meat to your table upon you flipping the green sign on your label to signal that 'you're ready for more food'. It was Rm79 (20usd) per pax, ranging from codfish, cheese beef, chicken, lamb shoulder, sirloin, ribeye, turkey ham, chicken ham, beef ham and not to mention there's a light buffet counter that serves, fruits, coleslaw, pasta, fried rice and many more.

It has been awhile since I actually had my tummy filled to the brim that I didn't want to drink anymore alcohol.

After the dinner, some of my colleagues had to make a move home and some of us, went for second servings of drinking at the next door pub. @ahmadturki loves drinking so when the birthday boy says yes, we all had to go. I think food aside, it was a fun time to start the weekend rest. Being able to sleep in today was a luxury and now I'm up, I have to go freshen up and be ready for the weekend!
