 I love food. No argument, I do. Lots of people around the world love food too. Even in lectures I always sit in class anticipating my next meal. Food is essential for our survival so it really won't be a bad thing to say I love what keeps me alive. 

Food is basically what we consume in order to survive. Food not only keeps us alive, it also provides the energy we need for the day to day runnings of our lives. Food is one of the good things of life that I feel everyone should take full advantage of. 

Good food nourishes your body and makes you feel good. A blend of the right flavors can take your mind off stress and relax your mind. Imagine that you're having a terrible day and then you get a tray with your favorite dishes. Consuming this will calm you down and provide relaxation. 

It is however important not just to eat food and feel good but to eat right. Food could have both negative and positive impacts on the body. For instance, when you use food as a coping mechanism to deal with stress, boredom or anxiety or to prolong your feelings of joy, it gathers a lot of unnecessary stuff in your body. This could lead to chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart disease and also body disorders such as obesity.  

On the positive side, good food could help you reach and maintain a healthy weight, it reduces your risk of chronic diseases and promotes your overall health. It also increases your energy level and alertness /improves your health. 

So whether you eat to live or live for the next meal, it is important to eat good food. Not only will it make you look and feel better, it also plays a role in how long you'll live.
