How to produce red oil palm

My dad has been producing oil palm for the past 25 years and the work is very prolific. He as palm oil tree on 2hectares of land and i so much have interest in the work that have been doing it for the past 8years with him

A man will climb the palm tree with a locally made rope and axe to get the bunch of the palm tree seeds down, the bunch might be 1 or maximum of 6, he will first get the palm frond cut to get the bunch cut easily
Woman labour is required to take the bunches to a particuar place Where for threshing
Threshing is the process of separating the seeds from the bunches

After 3 or 4 days the seeds is ready to be removed through manual processing where they seeds been put inside a drum to boiled for processing

It takes about 45minutes to get the palm seeds boiled for easy crushing in the machine,once the

Liter engine is coupled with the turner, the turner rotates to compressed the boiled seeds, the turner have two opening 1) the oil been compressed pathway, and 2) the palm kernel pathway

Wheel barrow is usually placed at the palm kernel pathway for transporting the kernel outside easily while the oil is also transporting to the second drum for processing to seive the oil from the other residues.

You add about 2kegs of water inside the drum mixed with the oil taking from the engine to avoid the oil from burning , after 1hour of cooking, you allow it to cool down for 15minutes then the red oil palm float at the top then you sieve the on oil inside keg(s)
