We recently attend a friend's wedding in Singapore and had the pleasure and delight to dine at Lewin Terrace near the Singapore Philatelic Museum.

It is a real little gem that you would overlook if you didn't know it was there. We had to climb these steps out back which was hidden amongst the trees.

At the very top is this old colonial type house which has been modernise with comfort amenities in its interiors. It is a cozy little place good for 50-60 guests.

Of course the highlights that evening (besides the bride and groom) was the food!

We started with this scallops with seafood broth starter.

Next up was this pumpkin soup with parmasan cheese, I gather there was hints of truffle in there too.

The next dish is this pan seared cod fish. Very simple and well done with yazu sauce or something like that..

Next up was the main course - a choice between the beef option or the chicken.

The beef was absolutely divine. A high grade wagyu with lots of fats which melts in your mouth.

The chicken option wasn't so simple as well. It was either a quail or pheasant type as well.

And finally to cap it off was this mix of desserts that I usually see on Masterchef but could never re-create nor had the chance to taste - until today 😁

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the food and atmosphere was only made better by the occasion and friends surrounding us.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading my review and thank you for all your support.

Cheers!

Food looks extraordinary man.. the couple must have spared no expense.. glad you got to experience and thanks for sharing..

Hi, these photos look so lovely especially the food. I have been to Singapore but did not know of this hidden place. Will remember and when I am there again to look for it. Guess it must be expensive and do they serve lunch and dinner for public besides catering for weddings and functions??
Thanks for sharing.
@jackpot

Wow the food looks awesome! No wonder they had the reception there? XD

Didn't realise they still had those colonial houses in Singapore, but then again I never used to go anywhere other than shops and visiting relatives when my family used to go for holidays.

Yes! Apparently they still do.. it was a surprise for me as well ;)

Pretty nice picture. Thank you so much
