Calorie is a type of energy measurement.People take their calories from food and drinks. These calories can used for daily activities, body functions or can stored for later use. Stored form can be glycogen in liver and muscles or these calories can stored the form of fat. There can be 3 calorie balance. If we take less calorie than our body's burn it is negative calorie balance and it result in weight loss. If we take more calorie than our body's burn it is positive calorie balance and it result in weight gain. Finally if we take same calorie with our body's burn it is maintenance and we keep our weight same.
