Cabbage rolls of mushrooms

Fasting is a time of spiritual purification, during these periods you can not eat meat, but sometimes you want to try your favorite dishes! But there is always a way out, and one of them is to prepare scant versions of favorite recipes. For example, cabbage rolls can be cooked completely without using meat!

Tips before cooking:

  • Mushrooms for this recipe can be used fresh or frozen. If you freeze, do not forget to defrost them beforehand. Choose a variety of mushrooms to your liking. But mushrooms or oyster mushrooms are best.

  • Rice for this recipe picks loose, long.

Number of people: 3

Ingredients:

· Cabbage leaves - 12 pcs.

· Rice - 4 tablespoons

Fresh mushrooms - 300 gr.

· Bulb onion - 2 pcs.

· Vegetable oil for frying

· Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons

· Salt to taste

Sequence of preparation:

Step 1: In salted water, boil the cabbage leaves to make them soft.

Step 2: Boil the mushrooms with a bulb, cut into several pieces.

Step 3: Pour the mushrooms into a colander, remove the onion, and chop mushrooms finely.

Step 4: Separate boil the rice.

Step 5: Mushrooms and onions fry in vegetable oil, then add rice and salt to taste, put out for a couple of minutes.

Step 6: Lay out the minced meat on cabbage leaves and wrap it with envelopes.

Step 7: In a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the lean cabbage rolls until they blush. Then pour them a little water (to see-cover the product), add the tomato paste, cover it tightly and cook for 10-15 minutes. Serve the dish hot, decorate with fresh herbs.
