How I made Carrot Pudding ( Gajar Halwa)???
hello friends we made many dishes from Carrot , One of the favorite and most popular dish of Carrot is Carrot pudding , In local language Carrot pudding is called Gajar Halwa.
so let's start.....
Ingredients
2 kg red carrot peeled and grated
250 ml milk
300 gm sugar
400 gm mava crumbled
7 tablespoons ghee
20 almonds blanched and sliced
Process:-
put carrot and milk into cooker
cook at high flame then remove immediately from heat, release pressure in the cooker.
after then place cooker with Carrots on high heat , add sugar , cook till liquid dries up ( approximately 15 minutes) , stirring occasionally , Add mava and ghee, then cook till ghee shows separately (approximately 10 minutes) , stirring constantly , serve hot , garnished with almonds
This is enough for 11-12 persons.
