Poulet à la Vénitienne
Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1 teaspoon of basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut chicken into pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until golden brown.
- Add the onion, garlic, green pepper, and tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the wine, oregano, thyme, and basil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve hot. Enjoy!
