The time is flying so fast I didn't even realise that the week has gone by, I didn’t have enough time to share with you the remaining part of our last weekend. We started of in the Chocolate and ice-cream factory as I mentioned in my previous post, which was great experience. If you missed that post, you can read about it here.

We enjoyed our time there, but we wanted to check out a Eltham Jazz and Wine festival and despite forecasted rain we managed to see some of the things they had on offer.

We started of by doing rounds checking the stalls and got a nice balloon plus face painting for Emily. Once kids were sorted we listened to gospel choir, which was great and such an inspiration for us. We wish that we can have so much energy and spirit! It was contagious and the whole crowd was singing along to the 70's and 80's classics.

Sadly, it started to rain and we had to moved under few gazebos to taste some food, while listening to some jazz 😊 we tasted cider and freshly fried doughnut and topped it off with some nice beef brisket/coleslaw bun. It was all amazing and we wish we could stay longer, but due to weather conditions, we looked for a local winery to go and have some dinner.

Yarra Valley is a great source of food and wine, so we did not have to look for long and discovered this amazing place with wood fire pizzas and local wines. We purchased one bottle of their very own wine to enjoy later at home, Emily as usual tried some calamari and was pleased to announce that they were delicious. We enjoyed nice garden setting and the restaurant was set up nicely, it immediately made you relaxed and that’s all you need on a Saturday afternoon 😊
