Taco Time. I Shouldn't, But I Love It And I'm Bad :( (take out home)
Hello, everybody. How is your day going?
Thank you for looking :) and I hope you have a great day and I wish you the best :*
and I love you
Anyway, this meal was made by me, sponsored by my workplace, Nixtaco in Roseville Ca.
I brought it home because I had eaten some other things before. hahaha that I did not take
pictures of but it was delicious.
Barbacoa! mostly broth not just dry meat, a broth so rich and flavorful to which
I added some fresh tomato, onion, cilantro, avocado, roasted habanero sauce, and lime.
Mmmmmmm it makes my mouth water just to think of it hahahahah
I will take some pictures of it one of this days and give it to Juan so he can eat it
I don't eat that much meat anymore, but I still enjoy some every once in a while.
Anyway back to my tacos:
I had 3 tacos which are made with heirloom blue corn straight from Mexico
so it is not a weird tortilla
Actually, it is a really good and flavorful tortilla, we process it in house.
Shrimp in beer cheese sauce with rajas con queso. (roasted poblano peppers
A mix of Oaxaca and Provolone cheese, cream and fresh elote)
Short rib barbacoa with caramelized pineapple, salsa verde, avocado and micro cilantro
And last but not least. Fresh California avocado topped with pickled onion and queso fresco.
California love <3 hahaha from tio Luis to everyone.
And this was my favorite, I just love sea food. It is always my favorite.
Again thank you for reading and have an amazing day :)
Soy tu tio

I never seen tacos made of blue corn. It looks a bit weird but interesting. My first thought was: Why does he post pictures of rotten tortillas but than I read the text and now I'm curious...
The Internet says that the blue color comes from anthocyanins which are very healthy.
And the Internet is always right! ;-)
ahhahah internet is actually right this time.
Blue corn is really good in flavor too, the higher quality places that make their own tortillas kinda fight to get blue.
