Cebu's Marriott Hotel Seafood Buffet | Come and Eat with me
All of the Filipinos know that most restaurants especially 5 star rated hotels offers extravagant food, There are many well known hotels and restaurants that offers food and packages like this. One of them is the Marriot Hotel, with one branch located at Cebu, Philippines.
I decided to do this kind of blog just to know what to feel like doing what you love while not getting hungry at all haha. So for starting it here is the thumbnail of their main course the Chicken Teriyaki
THUMBNAIL
Here is one of them
The Cebu City Marriott Hotel buffet offers you a food experience you can not forget and a taste that will surely satisfy your craving. It starts from their fantastic culinary showcase, to healthy foods that they also showcase in your breakfast happiness.
THE SETTING
Sitting this table setting and under golden light glow of the restaurant also with regards to the ambiance is so perfect for a date with your love ones. You can not possibly be angry on waiting for your food to arrive on your table with this kind of setting, with a hotel this of a high caliber your money won't be a waste because...
"you always get what you pay for"
THE SEAFOOD
Seafoods like crabs, lobsters, and shrimps are just a food when we have extra money or in filipino term we say "nakakaluwag". They are all expensive when bought in the local market, but withMarriot Hotel their all-you-can-eat offerings would be something you shouldn’t miss.
For starters, the grilled rock lobsters have a craving-satisfied power kind of meat you’d want to pair up with their different variety of side dishes and sauces. You can also request the chef to cook it for you and they will do so with a generous smile.
If you're a crab addict and lover then this is definitely a place for you, they have fresh catches which you can either have steamed or in sweet chili style. I gorged myself on a couple of sweet chili crabs with an utter sound of delight crossing my mouth. The flavors gave an interesting twist to the crab’s meat. This variation was one I’d prefer more, but both are exceedingly good in preparation.
Salmon and tuna sashimi were great addition to this seafood-themed buffet as well. While it’s tempting to fill your plate with their Japanese food, a variety of the buffet at Marriott Cebu might entice you to think twice before doing so.
Aside from their seafood specials, their main courses were also a standout. There’s chicken teriyaki (which is the thumbnail) that’s tastefully laden with a flavorful sauce, and some vegetables to go along your side dish.
THE SOUP selection
The sinigang is well worth your choice. You can have one freshly-cooked by the chef at their soup station. Something about the steam dissipated in the air gives your stomach a want for warmth. It keeps your appetite going to help you brave the foods you’re still about to devour.
THE DESSERT
We still have not ended yet, there is still much room for dessert for us, We tried their Creme Brulee and It was Oh-so yummy. It glides in your tongue smoothly without being overly sweet. For their other dessert varieties, there’s panna cotta and multiple flavors of cakes as well.
So that's a wrap. Again, the Garden Cafe Marriott Cebu buffet proved to be a one-of-a-kind contender amongst the pool of buffet restaurants in the city. You have to go there even once just to experience what I have at this moment.
