Most of them who fall into the "sweet tooth" type of category would not find the bitter taste of dark chocolates palatable. Dark chocolates are essentially made up of cocoa butter instead of traditional milk butter. It is made up of 80% cocoa butter and also low in sugar, which makes it a healthier alternative than traditional chocolates.
Dark chocolates are a rich source of anti- oxidants as in contains a rich amount of cocoa, to a certain extent it will also help you lose weight as it contains healthy fats and that will reduce the absorption of sugars. Studies also reveal that eating a bar of dark chocolates 20 minutes before a meal will cut down appetite by 50%.
Dark chocolates can be good for your skin also .. YES .. the antioxidants will increase the blood flow resulting in less wrinkles and healthier glow.
Consuming cocoa can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases as it will help to reduce “bad cholesterol” and raise the level of good cholesterol, which in turn contributes in reducing the risk of other heart related diseases.

Finally, to conclude, anything that is consumed in moderation always maintains a balance. Obviously, anything is excess won’t do any good. Quick tip, look for chocolates that contain at least 70% cocoa, which means rich quality of cocoa less other ingredients.
