What Beats a 50 Ounce Steak That's As Big As Your Head? (If Not Bigger?)
Enjoy the Biggest 50 Ounce "Bone in the Stone" Steak You'll Ever Eat!
Want to know how this post was created?
I was wracking my brain trying to find a place to eat that would razzle-dazzle my friends who had traveled all the way from Hong Kong to visit western New York.
When it dawned on me.
Steak. House.
If you don't already know, I absolutely adore foodie videos...
...and I recently stumbled upon one of my favorite YouTubers' gushing review of a place in Niagara Falls, New York called the Riverstone Grill that featured...
...a 50 ounce "Bone in the Stone" Rib-Eye Steak that was made famous when it appeared on Food Network - Man vs Food.
My friends had two growing hungry boys...
and this would give me a great opportunity to eat something I would never have done by myself!
Thank goodness for out of town visitors!
The place itself is pretty unassuming...
...Really, you wouldn't believe that it attracts that many people...
and it's located away from all the touristy attractions in Niagara Falls.
(That's how you know that foodies are attracted to it!)
We ordered the Bone in the Stone 50 oz rib eye steak topped with...
- onion straws
- blue cheese dressing (oddly enough, it really does make it quite yummy)
- and it came with 1 lb of french fries and 1 lb of sweet potato fries
Actually, we ordered TWO!!
(You know, because of the hungry boys!)
As for SIDES we had...
- salad
- lobster mac 'n' cheese
- smashed potatoes / broccoli
- nachos with cheese
It was SUPER YUMMY!
The steak actually needed to be cut in half to be cooked on the grill...but it was tender, flavorful, and of course...the side dishes were to die for!!
In fact, we were so full that we ended up taking a LOT of it back with us!
Good thing is, is that Niagara Falls isn't that far away...
And turns out to be a great opportunity to walk off that food!! (and of course, for more photo opportunities!)
In case you're interested, these are my friends that were visiting out of town...
(See the two hungry boys?) :)
For some reason, it doesn't look like that much food on the table, but, honestly, there really was...
Let me know if you've recently had a great meal!! (I'd love to see pictures!)

Great post again! I do not believe people would order such a huge steak. I bet they have some very large doggie bags. How much was the steak out of interest? Everything looked lovely though, I would have enjoyed a much smaller helping. Wish I had been there to share it with you, :)X
I totally hear you, @allaboutpastries! It's BIG - and really has to be a sharable meal, but definitely note worthy in terms of its size...]
(and...well, there is the "ooh" and "aah" factor)
From what I recall, it cost about $40-$50 US (with everything loaded)
Love it when a small "mom and pop" place becomes well known, though, in the foodie world...
Absolutely agree, and in the scheme of things, for the amount of food you had, not a bad price. Great post though! :)X
These look so good. Thanks for including the recipe.
