But I've been thinking a lot about it recently. I'd love to have more "explicit' content like marihuana, and microdosing LSD without having YouTube banning me.
Perhaps I have to find a way to make video's that are less personal or just a Voice Over or something. You know what I mean?
i hear ya. bear in mind that on dtube the videos vanish after a few weeks anyway because they get flushed from IPFS so it's mainly only exposure for a short time that's why i include a youtube version too. you could get some IPFS if you want to keep them full time but if you wanna do that you might as well use LBRY (another media platform i love)
no worries. ipfs is not like youtube, it's like p2p napster and people store files for a 'period of time' before it's flushed out with newer stuff, so while the post on the blockchain might be immutable, chances are you video might not load after a few weeks. it's a very transient tech at the moment UNLESS your either using your own ipfs node or paying for service monthly that keeps it online.
Oh deffinetly. But as far as I know there is no "delete" option. So I'm not sure how to handle that...
A while back this was how I felt about it.

What do you mean with flushed form IPFS. Kinda noobish over here 😅

Wow. this changes EVERYTHING. Thanks for the EMLI5 !!
atm I'm juggling every minute that I have to stay up with the post production of a documentary + making YT videos + being a part time father 🤪
Once the documentary is done I've got more time to dive into Dtube (just saw your posts on live streaming over at the @teamvideo account!)
Thnx again for the break down🤓✌
yeah no worries. you are welcome.
