Ate Great #2: Tasting Thailand's Tofu & Bean Sprouts with Ground Pork Stir Fry
I always look forward to bean sprouts because I'm a vegetable connoisseur & blood type A. This dish was the main dish a few days ago at our family lunch so this portion in the picture fed roughly 6 people as the kids were at school. Also if you don't eat pork, a very common variety would be ground chicken or beef.
The tofu & bean sprouts with ground pork stir fry would be stir fried using olive or coconut oil with oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, some garlic, black pepper, honey and lime. Like most Thai dishes, it's a topping for rice, and added on per bite. The omami, sweet and sour flavors blend well with the salty flavors from the more Asian like ingredients such as fish sauce and oyster sauce. When you bite down, the unique flavorful blend we referred to, is complemented well by the healthy taste of the tofu & bean sprouts.
If 20 or more people coment that they are interested in the recipe, I'll find the best (and best meaning from my wife) for you all and post it for you all. Have a great weekend Steemit!
