Pancho's Rainbow Reflections
I always have to try new things.
I have been watching this corner for some time because I saw the hot peppers painted on it but nothing told me what kind of restaurant this would be until I saw the doors open today. So I rode right in on my wheel and ordered something.
I just wanted to try what they had to offer so I ordered a burrito and three tacos to go. The server was nice about it but she said there was no way to wrap tacos to go.
I was feeling a bit peckish so I decided to eat the tacos there and take the burrito home and they were nice enough to accommodate my custom order.
Hot but not Spicy
That is what they have on the walls inside. The friendly servers had it on their t-shirts too. The first thing I asked was if they have hot sauce. I don't think I could stand a taco without it.

As with everything here in Argentina, it takes a while before people get things are supposed to be like. They should know because there are plenty of taco places now.
I can't say the food was bad because the meat was good and the taco shells were awesome, soft taco shells made of corn. But they didn't seem to have a grasp on what was supposed to be on a taco.
The chicken taco was just that taco shell, soft, with minced chicken inside. There were no onions no cheese no tomatoes, just chicken! They did put a dollop of guacamole in the middle for decoration. I suppose that's what it was.
The other one, shown in the cover photo, was beef and again the meat was awesome but this one had pickled cabbage on top of the meat and right in the center. I spread it around so that I get a little bit in each bite something felt wrong because there was no cheese or lettuce or anything.
The burrito is similar having nothing but meat in it but the burrito shell was awesome almost like a pita folded and toasted slightly after making it.
it's tourist season here and this is located right in the heart of tourist town. I can only imagine people from the United States wondering why they're not putting anything on it. but still, I would order from this place again bring it home and add cheese lettuce sour cream and tomato for a really good "Mexican" treat.
If you want to try it here's a map where it is. I would use pin maple but they gripe about me putting pointers on their map because I'm not traveling here, I only live here.
