It was all garbage ingredients. I recently introduced a friend to the wonderful world of cast-iron and so this is our first break in recipe in his cookware. Normally I would be inclined to get high-quality ingredients, garden fresh tomatoes, nicer Cheese's and things, but this was a Walmart special. Trash sauce, trash bagged mozzarella, dunpster dough, etc.
The smooth and consistent heat of the iron and oven did all the beautifying. It came out more like a lasagna, but it was fantastic.
Hahaha Awesome! Good test to use the cheap stuff and have low expectations. I've done that before and it turned out about how I expected. Glad it was decent though! It was photogenic at the very least.
Looks tasty. You use a mixture of cheese or just mozzarella? I could go for a good deep dish right about now.

Hey sometimes you need a fork for good pizza...or a spoon. As long as it tastes good and is cooked all the way, can't be too bad!
Wow this is homemade? Looks sooooo good!
