Til ke laddoo
Hello steemians, I would like to share a recipe. In india, we are celebrating Sankranti festival. It is a festival of flying kites and drawing colourful Rangoli. We celebrate it for 3 days. Bhoghi, Makar Sankranti, karee. On these special days we prepare variety of dishes. So, I thought to share one of the recipe which is healthy and made specially on this festival.
Ingredients:
• 250gms of sesame seeds( roasted)
• 250gms of jaggery
• 1/2tsp of ghee or butter
Procedure:
Jaggery syrup:Take a pan and put jaggery in it and stir continuously till it melts completely and add ghee or butter.
Check the jaggery syrup: Take a bowl water and pour tiny amount of syrup in it. The syrup should immediately form a ball at the bottom of bowl. Then the syrup is ready.
Now after the jaggery is melted add roasted sesame seeds and mix well.
Let it sit for 2 mins. Now apply water to the hands and take a spoon of this mixture(but be careful it will be very hot) and make balls.
Now let the balls sit for 1-2 hours.
Note:
This laddoo should be made when the mixture is hot.
If it cools down then it's not possible to make laddoo because the mixture gets hard when it gets cool.
If it gets cool then you heat it for just 2 mins not more than that.
Sonali til gul ghya ani gol gol bola.
