Hi fellow steamians,
In this post I am going to share with you my most favourite breakfast dessert recipe!
The super tasty and fresh LEMON BALM BANANA ICE CREAM ๐ ๐ฟ ๐ ๐ฆ
With this I am also attending the contest.
In summer, I eat it almost everyday and in winter at least three times per week. It is absolutely tasty and never gets boring - at least for me! I love it! ๐
And to top it all: it is all natural and does not include any animal products (e.g. milk, yoghurt) or any processed foods (e.g. sugar). It is officially healthy. ๐๐
You will need a freezer and a heavy-duty blender.
INGREDIENTS
- some really ripe bananas (with dark spots) ๐
- some liquid (tea or water) ๐ง
- lemon balm or mint leaves ๐ฟ
PROCEDURE
- Peel your bananas and put it in a box. Put the box into a freezer for at least one day.
- Take the box with the frozen bananas out of the freezer, pull the bananas out and cut it into small pieces.
- Put some liquid (I used some tea, you could also use water or soy milk) into your blender so that it does not overheat in the next stage.
- Put a few pieces of banana into the blender and blend it to get a feeling.
- Put more bananas into the blender and blend them carefully. You may need to pause and use a tamper.
- Stop when it gets a creamy consistence.
- Get your lemon balm leaves or mint leaves.
- Put the leaves into the blender and activate the blender.
- Stop when the leaves are completely minced.
BOOM! There you have it: Your home-made decadent completely natural lemonbalm banana ice cream! So delicious!
Bon Appรฉtit!

vanilla pod laying around here, going to try it with that as well because I do not need it for anything else, I hope thats good as well.

Although it looks less aesthetic, here is an alternative way of making this type of ice cream. For this you need a masticating juicer (e.g. Omega). It is more practical as the above variant and as yummy. :)
