Candied papaya fruit better than the ripe papaya fruit. As we all know that ripe papaya fruits are very mushy and easily rotten. By converting into sweets it is not only better but also more durable. Let's start our mother now.
How to make candied papaya fruit
The main ingredient
Young papaya fruit: 1 fruit (about 2 kg).
Whiting: ± 3 tablespoons.
Sugar: 1 kg.
Salt: 3 tablespoons for immersion.
How to make candied papaya fruit
Peeled young papaya and cut into pieces according to taste. Then place it in an adequate container.
Sprinkle salt evenly, stirring, and squeeze gently. Then wash and rinse thoroughly.
Prepare water bath of whiting and soak overnight.
Dispose of water and wash thoroughly. Put it back into an adequate container.
Enter ¼ granulated sugar and stir the papaya until smooth, then let stand for about 2 hours for the sugar to sink.
While boiled the remaining sugar around ¾ kg with water about 1 to 1½ liters of water, then chill.
Next put in a jar or container covered with papaya and save.
Candied papaya fruit ready to enjoy.
