Today I share the importance of Dried fruits in our life.Day fruits and are used all over the world because they provide us much health benefits.Day fruits and are the good source of fiber and also the good source of antioxidants.Importance of Dry fruits are described here below.

What is Day fruit?

Health benefits of dry fruits:

Source of fiber:

  1. Dry fruits are the good source of fiber and high fiber present in dry fruits.
  2. High fiber helps in the digestion of foods.
  3. Fiber is very important for our digestive system because with the help of fiber our digestive system run smoothly.

Antioxidants:

  1. Dry fruits are the good source of antioxidants and antioxidants are very essential for our growth.
  2. Phenols are the type of antioxidants which present in dates and figs.

Nutrients:

  1. Dry fruits are the rich source of essential nutrients.
  2. Apricots and figs are the good sources of beta-carotene, vitamins, iron, magnesium.

Source of calories:

  1. Dried fruits do not contain fat but provide us many calories.
  2. Dry fruits are the natural source of energy for athletes.

Health benefits of some common dried fruits:

Figs:

  1. Figs are the good source of fiber and also the good source of vitamins like vitamin B6.
  2. Figs are very important for asthma, cough and breast ache.
  3. Due to the high content of fiber figs are recommended for the tone of intestines.
  4. Figs have reduced the risk of anaemia and fiver.

  1. Dates are the good source of minerals such as magnesium, iron and potassium.
  2. Dates are used in many medicines.
  3. Dates are important for the digestion.
  4. Good source of nicotinic which helps in the intestinal disturbance.
  5. Dates have reduced the risk of diarrhoea due to the presence of potassium.

  1. Reduce the cholesterol level in our body due to the absence of fat.
  2. Good source of antioxidants, clean our blood and makes the blood flow smoothly.
  3. Provides us healthy bones.
