Moroccan Tagine of Lamb with prunes

It’s a classic sweet and savoury Moroccan dish, it’s delicious and yummy.
Ingredients
1Kg lamb
2 tablespoon Olive oil
2 grated onions
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground Turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon saffron
water
To prepare prunes
Dried prunes
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method
In a large pot, put the olive oil over low heat and add the onions, garlic, and all the species: Ground ginger, turmeric, pepper, salt, and saffron.
Add the pieces of meat, mix them with the species until they become brown then add some water. cover the pot and make sure the heat is always low. Check on it from time to time.
Meanwhile, prepare the caramelized prunes. In a saucepan, put the prunes in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes until they become soft. Add cinnamon and honey and let them over low heat for 10 minutes.
To serve the tagine, place the meat with the sauce, arrange the prunes and decorate the dish with some sesame seeds and roasted almonds.
