Crêpes Suzettes
Today I will show you how to make delicious French-style crêpes
ingredients for crêpes:
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 cup of milk
1 whole egg
the zest of half naranga or lemon
10 g of butter will melt at room temperature
Ingredients for the sauce:
80 g of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
the juice of an orange or lemon
preparation:
- Start preparing the mixture for the crêpes. Place wheat flour, milk, whole egg, orange or lemon zest and melted butter at room temperature in a bowl
- Mix well and let stand for at least one hour.
- Pour enough mixture into the hot pan to make the crêpes. When browned, turn it over. Once the crêpes are ready, keep them warm until you are ready to use them.
- For the sauce of the crêpes melt butter in a pan and add the sugar. Cook until caramelize
- Add the orange or lemon juice and continue cooking, stirring constantly with the wooden spoon, until a syrup forms.
- To assemble the dish, place a crêpe inside the sauce and fold it until it forms a triangle.
- Repeat the operation until you have used all your crêpes
