How to make: fried rice Venezuelan style.

Hi, greetings to all then I will share with you how to prepare fried rice Venezuelan style. It is an exquisite dish to enjoy, at lunch time or dinner time.


The versatility of preparing this rice is that it allows us to prepare it with different types of meat, such as beef, chicken, seafood, ham, sausages, etc.

Here is the Venezuelan version of this delicious dish:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kilo 1/2 of Rice
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 kilo of beef
  • 500 grams of ham
  • 1/2 kilo of sausages
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 branches of celery
  • 3 stems of chives
  • 2 garlic stems porro
  • 1 Large soy sauce
  • Garlic sauce
  • Salt and pepper.

Preparation process

Step 1

Recommendation: Prepare the rice a day in advance and remember to keep it well refrigerated.

Preparation of Rice: In a pot over medium heat add for each cup of rice, 2 cup of water and salt to taste when boiling, lower heat and cover the rice, the cooking time is 20 minutes

Previously you should wash the "vegetables, meat and sausages" and chop into small cubes.

Step 2

Use a large deep pan or preferably a Wok.
I use a large pan, place over high heat and add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Then we will sauté our meats and sausages. One by one in a time of 8 to 10 minutes maximum, add 2 tablespoons of salt and with the help of the wooden spoon move the meats and sausages constantly avoiding so that it does not burn.

Step 3

Now start adding the chopped vegetables in small cubes to the pan, start with the hardest ones until the smallest ones (carrot, celery, porous garlic and chives) for about 5 to 6 minutes, and add 3 tablespoons of garlic sauce and 2 more minutes, stirring continuously so they do not burn.

Step 4

Start to add to our preparation the soy sauce mix with the wooden palette and with the help of a ladle add our ready rice from the previous day little by little, mix frequently with the palettes of about 6 minutes to avoid burning .

If you notice that the rice is very pale add a little more of the soy sauce. Once everything is integrated, remove it from the fire.
