Discovering the Amazing "Round Bush" Country Pub in Aldenham
On Friday afternoon, @ezzy and I went out for a drive and discovered an excellent country-style pub going by the name of “Round Bush” in the Watford area.
“Round Bush” is a traditional English village pub with a lovely bustling but cosy atmosphere. There are two spacious front rooms as well as a small back one, also accommodating a beer garden complete with kids play area. Very family friendly as you can see.
The place offers classic pub menu choices, from children’s meal and light bites to large meals. There are daily specials in additional to the comprehensive menu, which were homemade soup, grilled fillet salmon and goat burger. I opted for a traditional Bangers and Mash with Garden Peas in Onion Gravy whilst @ezzy went for his regular Blue Cheese Burger and Chips! Excellent quality food and very fresh, we really enjoyed it!
The pub has a great selection of drinks and also good ales on tap. It is extremely popular with the locals however being pleasantly not too noisy allowing you to have a nice relaxing chat. We had a great evening together and would definitely come back soon.
That looks like an awesome pub to have a bite or enjoy a pint. You took enough pictures to really give a feel for the place. Nicely done.
Thanks.

Wonderful, this makes me think of my own little second home village in Kent, Bridge. Lovely little village two good pubs (possibly third coming back) great local chruchyard and wonderful walks and pathways and great coffee houses (the peddlar at the end of a good walk) I miss it so, as I'm back in the USA now until Autumn.
Those bottles must be meant to be upside down in the dispensers with their labels upside down, I didn't even think of that until I saw them sitting upright.
I'd love a good sit in an English local with a roaring fire right now.
