Junk Food
Hello Friends, today my topic is about junk food, the food what we eat on road side, is the food we eat is healthy?
It's the 21st century and "junk food" has gone global. For better or for worse (mostly worse), junk food is now available all over the world. We see it most everywhere we go -- in grocery and convenience stores, fast-food restaurants, on television -- usually looking very appealing.
Why are junk foods bad for us?
Frequent consumption of junk food increases the intake of excess fat, simple carbohydrates, and processed sugar which may lead to a higher risk of obesity and cardiovascular diseases among other chronic health problems. The resulting obesity may begin clogging up the arteries and lay the basis of an impending heart attack. It has also been suggested that eating junk food affects the brain in the same way as consuming addictive drugs. An addiction to junk food may even result in rejection of healthier food options like fruits, vegetables, salads etc. leading to further lack of nourishment.
Eating junk food we are inviting various types of diseases in our body, such as obesity, heart diseases, diabetes, cancer, etc...
For our better health we should avoid such types of food, we should eat homemade food, we have to avoid cold drinks and start drinking green tea which is beneficial to us.
