RATATOUILLE (A film that represents the love of food creation and the importance of its perfection)
Hello friends, I had not published for a while but here I am to continue giving them the best, this film has left a mark on me and has been so good that I have managed to see it more than 100 times without exaggeration and without getting bored, many would not understand the feeling that transmits this film, perhaps because they see it as a movie but in reality those who know what the creator wanted to convey is because they feel identified as me, it is obvious, I love creating recipes for different foods or desserts and even improve them and give it a personal touch, indeed the same thing has happened in this movie and soon you will see this recipe made by me.
Millions of people around the world have identified with this spectacular film, but it is not to be expected since it gives a great touch to the hearts of those who are lovers of the kitchen in a way that we did not think possible staying deep in our thoughts and that remembering it will inevitably bring us a smile and we would like to see it again.
Ratatouille is an animated film by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar, written and directed by Brad Bird and then released in 2007.
It has enchanted audiences of all ages and has an incredible success worldwide, translated into many languages and winner of the Oscar for the category of best animated film of that year, a Golden Globe with the same category and many more awards than undoubtedly deserves, however I want to clarify that his award was more than deserved because it leaves us much learning and reflections that we all immediately capture as this great example of feature film progresses.
Ratatouille, although it is an animated film, surprises us because in it we appreciate the beauty of the gourmet world, a glimpse of what a 5-star restaurant is, the exquisite gastronomy, beautiful landscapes, and endless things that will leave you bowled over. This tells the story of a little rat named Remy who surprisingly has a developed sense of taste and smell and who has a fascination for the world of cooking, Remy lives in the attic of a small house in France. This one without being able to avoid it, he runs around the kitchen of the house where there lives an old lady who is always watching a cooking program where a famous chef named Gusteau appears who has a famous slogan that is "Anybody can cook" in the which Remy is inspired and decides to become someday a famous Chef.
Already at this point in the film there are several scenes that impact us mainly because it is not only a simple animal that likes to cook but this animal is a "Rat" that at first sight causes us displeasure but that being presented in a animated with charisma and funny personality a sense of hygiene, a wide and incredible knowledge about cooking techniques and a very creative way of preparing human food makes us surprised and forget what it really is.
Remy's dream of being a famous chef is interrupted by his father who, upon discovering his developed sense of smell, makes him use his ability to detect rat poison in food that consumes something that does not make him very happy. On the other hand, due to his refined tastes and the curiosity he has about learning from humans who for him are beings who do not limit themselves to survive but dedicate themselves to discovering and creating (he says this because of the creative way of preparing food something that surprises him and prompts him to want to do it) something that causes problems with his father because he has a very different way of thinking and that according to him are rats and have to just survive and steal the little food they get in the trash . But that is not enough for Remy and annoyed by not being understood by his father decides to go back to the house of the old woman in the company of his brother Emile to find spices and cook something other than garbage.
After the first few minutes of this amazing movie, this little rat named Remy has us in love and entertained with his way of thinking and seeing the world around him, something that is really impressive, therefore we are already realizing that this animation will undoubtedly It has totally hooked and will be part of our heart. The film takes an unexpected turn, because Remy and his brother are discovered by the old woman and when she realizes that she has rats in the kitchen she quickly looks for ways to kill them with nothing more and nothing less than a shotgun, Remy seeks to escape together with his brother Emile but the issue is complicated when due to bullets that the old woman shot them in vain the entire roof of the kitchen collapses exposing a whole colony of rats, a fact that leaves the poor lady infarcted and she runs away.
The scene is one of the funniest in the film in which you will not stop laughing and at the same time scare you for not wanting anything to happen to the poor rat. Even though the old woman runs out, it does not take long to go back but with a whole fumigation team, seeing this the rat colony including Remy does not waste time in escaping through the sewers but he does not want to leave behind a famous cookbook from deceased chef Gusteau, this delays him and he does not manage to escape with his family so he loses and ends up sailing alone and without direction. When he manages to reach the mainland, he waits for his family for a while, hoping that something will happen that does not happen and Remy starts to look through the Gusteau Book, but his imagination makes a bad move and an illustration of the book cobra life and he starts to talk and tell him not to be sad that he starts to go up and walk the city where he is and enjoy the world. After doing it Remy is very surprised when he discovers that he is in fact in Paris and that in fact he always was.
The initial surprise of Remy is not there, and that is not only in Paris but under him is a restaurant called Gusteau's 5 stars that turns out to be the restaurant of his greatest idol. In this part we see that his conscience has taken the form of Gusteau a little ghost product of his imagination and this encourages him to walk around and visit his restaurant. Remy arrives at the transparent roof of the kitchen where we find a good look at what a gourmet kitchen is. There the little rat observes Alfredo Linguini who got a dishwasher job thanks to the fact that he turns out to be the son of an old girlfriend of Gusteau and Skinner the head chef had a little consideration for that.
Linguini who turns out to be a shy, clumsy, funny, and somewhat forgetful character, begins his cleaning day in the restaurant but accidentally drops a pot full of soup on the floor emptying it almost completely, this when he realizes his mistake tries to fix the problem and do it again without anyone noticing something that does not turn out well because he does not know how to cook and the soup is disgusting, but what he does not know is that Remy is seeing him and he is desperate to see the disaster that linguini caused he tries to do something but he can not because he is a rat but as a matter of fate it falls from the kitchen ceiling, and he gets dumped in the middle of the kitchen but scared and overwhelmed sees the amount of people who are there trying to escape through a window that is open to do so passes through the place where is unfortunate soup and perceive the smell of it enter arcades at that time appears the ghost of Gusteau and incite to show his talent and fix it, Remy to see such an opportunity is put to work, this does it with passion, delight, cunning, fun where it perfectly demonstrates that he knows what he is doing. But his wonderful moment is interrupted when finishing the Linguini soup he sees it and is shocked because he is seeing a rat cooking.
This is undoubtedly the best scene so far one in which you will not stop laughing and surprise you something that I can personally say. After such surprise on the part of Linguini to discover such a fact but at the same time he is also discovered by Skinner who believes he was cooking without permission from anyone but while these two discuss the soup is served and delivered to a guest who happens to be a famous Critical and the soup quickly becomes a success becoming the most requested dish. Colette, the only woman in the kitchen, convinces Skinner not to fire Lingüini because he believes he is the one who made the famous soup, so after tasting it, he decides to keep the condition that he prepare the same soup under his observation.
As of that moment Linguini and Remy become great friends and colleagues each one under his own benefits the one of Remy to fulfill his dreams of cooking and the one of Linguini pretending that he knows how to do it not to be discovered and dismissed from the restaurant. Our little rat discovers that she can control Lingüini's movements by pulling on her hair. So they find a way to communicate with Remy by pulling Lingüini's hair under his chef's hat controlling his body like a puppet. Thanks to this they manage to overcome the challenges of Skinner who, suspecting the sudden talent of Lingüini, discovers that he is truly the son of Gusteau and that he will inherit the restaurant.
Already when we are in this part of the film we are getting more and more excited because the plot is getting interesting. Remy discovers the documents and takes them to Linguini who, after discovering that he is the son of Gusteau, takes charge of the restaurant and dismisses Skinner gaining fame and being a regular in several magazines and newspapers. This fact comes to the ears of a famous and respected critic named Anton Ego, a critic who some time ago managed to get the restaurant to take away a star, angered by the sudden fame of it decides to pay a visit to Linguini and promise to return the next day with his best observations he immediately becomes nervous and tries to prepare himself as best he can, however, everything goes wrong when Linguini and Remy have a fight and to get revenge the rat organizes the colony to invade the pantries of the restaurant kitchen but it is quickly discovered by his friend Linguini and seeing Remy's betrayal made all of them including him.
Remy is forced to go through a series of obstacles that prevent him from returning to the restaurant to help his friend cook for the big night where Ego waits. In spite of all this he manages to go through all those problems with the help of his family and returns to the restaurant, but upon entering all those who are there see him and try to kill him, which does not happen because Linguini sees this and saves him and ends telling him all his most precious secret that Remy the rat is the one who knows how to cook and not him. This causes great impact and disappointment to all so they decide to give up and leave it alone because they think that this has gone crazy. Linguini depressed by this fact is locked in his office to expect the worst leaving Remy alone that immediately his father dedicates some very emotional words.
We are already reaching the end of the film and to the best part, it will not stop surprising you this spectacular journey through which Remy takes us. Linguini, seeing that the rats have come to the rescue, gets excited and tries to help by acting as a waiter and serving impatient diners. Something unexpected happens and is that Colette the only woman in the kitchen returns and offers his help to prepare the dish to be delivered to the critic (Ego) Remy decides to prepare a simple recipe called "Ratatouille" hence the name of the film, between the two prepare the recipe, serve it and with a final touch they take it to Ego. Leaving us in another extraordinary world for its approval.
what a surprise! the fearsome Anton Ego loves it and is astonished by the dish, so much so that the taste brings back memories of his childhood when his mother cooked him Ratatouille. Immediately ask if you can see the chef. Lingüini and Colette wait for the other diners to leave the restaurant to introduce the Remy rat. The next day, Ego writes an emotional review where it makes clear a wonderful phrase: "Anyone can cook, does not mean that anyone can be a great artist, if not that great artists can come from anywhere" and ends by declaring Remy the "best chef in France". Despite such an achievement, the restaurant is closed by the infested rats and ego fired from its work for compromising its credibility. But do not scare everything is better, Linguini opens his own restaurant with Colette and Remy with areas especially for both humans and rats and a kitchen made for Remy to continue cooking. The film ends by showing the restaurant and showing a long line of people queuing to enter and a wonderful poster of the new restaurant that shows a rat with a kitchen spoon and a chef's hat and with the name: RATATOUILLE.
It is correct not anyone can say hey !! "I COOK" when you barely know a small molecule of this world. I have always differentiated myself from everyone in different courses and food for the simple fact that I like to improve some food or sweet or any food if I know I can do it, not all are born with talents to cook but there is always one that can stand out and shine without knowing absolutely nothing.
The world in the kitchen is one of my favorite hobbies, in which I can clear my mind to dedicate myself to making or creating new results to something that is already done or not by someone else, I have always liked the competition and above all to put all my personal touch.
