Apricot compote recipe

This easy apricot compote recipe is a refreshing cocktail for a hot summer day!
Ingredients:
500 gr apricots,
1 cup granulated sugar,
4 lt. water.
Cut the apricots into two and remove the seeds,
Place them in a large pot along with 2 lt. of hot water.
Put on the stove and cook until the apricots are softened,
Remove from the stove, add in the sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves completely,
Pour in the final 2 lt. of water, stir and refrigerate,
Serve chilled.
