** DO WE EAT TWO ANIMALS? OR A SINGLE FISH**

Taxonomy, is simply naming. And before living organism is named, First You have to know the generic i.e. knowing the ancestors of such organism. Taxonomy is one of the broadest part of Biology (The study of living things). For the purpose of this blog i want to talk a little on the taxonomy of some fishes.

Fishes (Pieces):
This is a class of the phylum, Chordata i.e Animals with back bone. Fishes are rich in protein and there are several types, it is consumed on a day to day meal.
Fishes can be eaten fried,boiled or dry.

Today, i want to name some fishes as related to another animal. i.e another animal combined with a fish.

Okay, Let us start.

1 CAT and ** FISH" i.e. Catfish
Cat is an animal that serves as a pet. Although, the combination looks like!

The Generic name is called Clarias. I am wondering, the reason it is called Catfish is because of the whiskers.

2 DOG and FISH i.e Dogfish
Dog is a friend of man, and it serves as a guard animal. Well, the combination of Dog and Fish looks like!

The generic name is Squalus. Again am wondering maybe the reason this fish was called Dogfish is as a result of the shape of its head.

3 TOAD and FISH* i.e Toadfish
Toad is an amphibian just like frog, it is usual found in moist habitat. A combination of toadfish appears
sandy to whitish in colour, with small brown spots over most of the back and upper sides. It looks like

I believe it is called Toadfish because it appears to be a lot like Toad in anatomy. Its generic name is Tetractenos

4 HORSE and FISH i.e Horsefish
In ancient times a major means of transportation is horse. When you visit
the beach you see horses and take pictures with them. A combination of horsefish looks like this and it is also called Seahorse

It generic name is "Hippocampus". It sure looks like a horse, no doubt why this fish is called Horsefish.

Yes, i am confused about naming this terrestrial fish may be @penking can help me. I know he is smart. Although, i think one characteristics of a fish is it must be aquatic.

@surpassinggoogle @minnowbooster @stach please help me name this fish. I think it can be called Shark Horse But is it a FISH ?
