ULOG 007: Cooking 101 - Pancit Ala Ping
It is funny that I have put Cooking 101 in the title, in fact, I am not sure when the Cooking 102 will be posted 😅😅😅 or will there be 102 even! 😂😂😂
I just documented my FIRST EVER Pancit, for the very reason that, this was the first time I have cooked Pancit. Thanks to my secret ingredient! 😉
Wanna know what's my secret?!? I will take you through... 😊
I have used Chicken Liver as the main ingredient of this Pancit, you can also use chicken, other meat, shrimp or even fishball/kikiam as alternative.
Ingredients:
- Cooking Oil
- Garlic
- Onion
- Pepper
- Salt
- Soy sauce
- Water
- Chicken Liver
- Baguio Beans
- Carrots
- Cabbage
- Bihon
- And my secret ingredient 😉
First you have to chop the garlic and onion then cut the vegetables; carrots, baguio beans and cabbage. Once all the ingredients are ready, you can follow these simple and easy steps! 😊
Simple and Easy-Peasy Steps:
1.) Pour a small amount of oil, wait until it is hot and saute the garlic.
2.) Once garlic is golden brown, add onion and saute until its color becomes lighter.
3.) Then add salt and pepper and sauté them together
4.) Add your main ingredient, here I used Chicken Liver. Saute it until the liver turns brown.
Can you smell it's yummiieeness ?!?! 😋😋😋
5.) Add water but keep in mind that Bihon is absorbing too much water, I am sure you do not want to have a very dry at the same time soupy pancit 😊
6.) Add soy sauce and pepper if necessary
7.) Now, I added my secret recipe and wait until it boils
Yes, my secret ingredient is Mama Sita's Pancit Bihon Mix ! 😊
8.) Add the vegetables; carrots and baguio beans first then after few minutes add the cabbage
9.) Once it boils, you can now add the pancit bihon
10.) Mix it very well until the soup is absorbed by the noodles and noodles becomes softer. Make sure not to overcooked your Bihon.
Once done... you are ready for the last and final step...
11.) SERVE it while hot and enjoy with your loved ones!
Bon Appétit!
I am happy and satisfied of its outcome... it was enjoyed by @prinsepong, @akosimalai and our jannahbabes too...
Well, for first timer... I think, I did a great job! 😊
How about you? What is your secret ingredient in cooking Pancit Bihon?! 😊
PS:
Let's see when my Cooking 102 will be posted 😅😅😅
