Festive Mood With Honey Cookies - Recipe
Today I baked some honey cookies and decorated them with chocolate glaze.
They're very easy to make and they stay soft for at least 2 weeks, you can just keep them in a box.
All you need to do is mix all of the ingredients below, wrap the dough in the cellofane and put it in a fridge for an hour. Then, make small balls, place them on the baking tray and bake for 10-13 min at 180°C. So simple!
Just a tip: take them from the oven when they're still soft. Don't overbake them or they will get hard when they cool down.
500g flour
150g butter
1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 eggs
150g honey
150g sugar
You can imagine the whole house now smells like honey and cinnamon 😋
If you try to make them let me know how they turned out.
They look delicious!
I never tried to add honey to butter cookies... must try that :)
Definitely.
