Recently decided to try and do some home made sausage making since living in Japan makes finding some things from home nearly impossible if you live outside of major urban centers like Chorizo or andouille sausage. I had a friend ship me the sausage casings since those are also a specialty item here therefore really expensive.
I also got a really nice chefschoice stainless meat grinder and cobbled it together with the sausage kit from kitchen aid. It was rough but it worked!
