A Taste of Pittsburgh

One of the greatest places in the world to live is Pittsburgh, PA! This big/little city has it all. We have the hottest summers, coldest winters, explosively colorful fall foliage, and the greenest springs imaginable! We are absolutely rabid when it comes to our home-town teams

6 Super Bowl trophies, 5 Stanley Cups, and the Pirates aren’t bad lately either!

If there’s one thing we love more than our “Stillers” and ‘Guins, it’s our FOOD! We love Perogies, Halupki, Chipped Ham, and PRIMANTI’s!

This work of art is known as the Pitts-Burger. It is the 2nd best seller at Primanti’s (hint, their best seller is a cold Iron City beer, and for those of you who’ve never been to the ‘burgh, it’s pronounced “Arn City”). This baby’s got a grilled meat patty, provolone cheese, cole slaw, tomato, and home cut fries on two thick slices of fresh baked Italian bread. And yes, it’s served on wax paper. If you ask for a plate or utensils, you well get yelled at pretty darn good.

They just line them up, assembly-line style, and move them as fast as they can make them!
