I don't want to offend you, but this is mostly terrible dieting advice. The best diet is "NO DIET" . A healthy lifestyle eating fresh fruits and vegetables is the best way to be healthy and get to your best physical weight. It is true that we should cut out carbonated drinks, heavy fatty foods, etc. But you would be better off eating potatoes and vegetables than you would be to eat only fish or meat in a given day.
