FISH FINGERS that will send you to the moon
Where are the fish lovers? I love fish...hm hm hmmmm.....and two of the reasons why i love fish is:
- U spend very little time cooking fish.
- It is very very healthy
Now, let's begin:
Ingredients:
• Fish fillet cut into thin strips
• Fresh homemade bread crumbs
• Paprika Chopped
• dhania or cumin seeds
• Plain flour
• Eggs beaten (add a table spoon of water to the eggs and beat together )
• Oil for shallow frying
• Salt and black pepper to taste
METHOD :
- In a bowl or plate mix the bread crumbs, dhania(cumin seeds) , paprika, salt and pepper ... mix thoroughly.
- Place flour in another plate
- Then beaten eggs in another plate ... you now have 3 dredging (coating) stations ...
- Dust the fish in the flour then dip in the eggs then the flavored breadcrumbs and coat evenly . Place them on a plate till when ready to fry..
- In a frying pan add your oil and let it heat.
The oil must be hot enough that when you add your fish, it will sizzle. - Fry the fish for one minute each side or until crisp and golden on each side, then drain on kitchen paper...
- Serve garnished with a dip of your choice with lemon or lime wedges.
