Sweet Donuts

Kiddies love donuts especially donuts with glaze and sprinkles. Colourful sugar treats. The bakery display counter at Hyvee store is lined with trays of donuts of wondrous colours. If he accompanies me or the store, the kiddo always insists on getting a couple of donuts as teatime snacks. He is not shy to tell the patient counter server which donut to put into the paper bag; always the ones packed with the most sprinkles.

I usually prepare some snacks for the kiddo when he comes home from school. I know for a fact that he eats very little during the short lunch break at school. He should be hungry and it would be a while before we eat dinner. So sometimes snacks are donuts and milk.

The kiddo would sometimes cleaned off the sprinkles and glaze and not eating the donut. He is not alone. I noticed that his play dates do the same. Perhaps they are hungry only for something sweet.

Yummy donuts are not just loved by kiddies. Adults enjoyed them too. We usually get a box of donuts whenever we have a party in case anyone hankers for something sweet.
