If you currently have free time, how about filling it with cakes? We are going to make Mochi Rolls which taste good and delicious. If you're interested in making it, here's the recipe!
Material :
- 120 g glutinous rice flour
- 30 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g tapioca flour
- 80 grams of sugar
- 150 ml of water
- 1/2 tsp chocolate paste
- 1/2 tsp pandan paste
- 1/2 tsp strawberry paste
- 1 tablespoon of roasted glutinous rice flour

How to Make Mochi Rolls:
1. Heat the steamer and wrap the lid with a napkin. Mix all flour and sugar, mix well.
2. Enter the water, stir with a whisk until well blended, no lumps.
3. Pour into a 20x20 cm tin that has been previously greased with vegetable oil
4. Steam over low-medium heat for 15 minutes.
5. Once cooked, immediately remove and brush the surface with food paste. Each 1/3 of the dough is smeared with chocolate paste, pandan paste and strawberry side by side.
6. Leave it for 10 minutes for the color to dry
7. Slide the spatula around the edges, pushing until the edges of the mochi are released from the pan. Then immediately roll the mochi
8. Prepare a base in the form of plastic or baking paper, sprinkle with roasted glutinous rice flour.
9. Place the mochi rolls on the mat so that the surface is covered with glutinous rice flour, brush the excess flour on top.
10. Prepare a knife that is smeared with oil, cut the mochi
11. Mochi can be served immediately or sprinkled again on top with toasted sesame or dried coconut.
