Braised Lotus Pills
It is the season eating lotus root,sliced diced fried or salad are common way to eat,this time I made some lotus pills with round head and porcellaneous,attractive colour and lustre which evoked an appetite~~
Braised Lotus Pills
Ingredients:lotus root,mushroom,agaric,rape,flour,salt,dark soy sauce,sugar,starch
Directions:
Wash and remove the peel of the fresh lotus roots,grate into small pieces and then chopped with a knife,hold in hand to squeeze water
Wash and mince mushroom and agaric;wash rape and blanch over boiling water,then fish out
Mix lotus roots,agaric,mushroom,and flour together,season with salt
Rub the mixed stuffings into a ball,water in pot and boiling,put lotus pills quick boil about 4 or 5 minutes and fish out
Put balls into the boiling oil in the pan to roll,add dark soy sauce,sugar,water,and a little water,thicken after boiling
Place the small rape around the plate,the balls can be filled into the middle of plate
Reminders from kaka:
Do not squeeze the lotus root too dry
Add flour just balls can be rolled,don’t be too dry ,it’s easy to loose
This can also be fried
Small rape outside the restaurant encoder mostly the whole tree lay there, looking beautiful,but we don’t know whether it is clear or not,we’d better break every leaves off and wash more clean
