LEARN TO PREPARE THE "CACHITO" BREAD

Hello my dear Steemians. For today I want to show you the process of preparing a Venezuelan delicacy bread "Cachito", which is characterized by being stuffed with ham and can also carry cheese, its shape is like that of a horn or horn, that's why it's named.

It is a very fluffy and soft bread, ideal to enjoy at breakfast, with a good coffee with milk. It is also perfect to include in the children's snack, I remember that my dad bought me a lot to go to classes. And I really loved its taste and soft texture, I always accompanied it with a malt. For me there was no better snack.


But you do not need to go to the bakery to enjoy its rich flavor, because then I show you its ingredients, and each of the steps for its preparation, which will undoubtedly yield more and be much cheaper:


Ingredients:

• 250 grams of flour.
• 2 eggs.
• 100 milliliters of milk.
• 1 tablespoon butter.
• 10 grams of yeast.
• 100 grams of sugar.
• 200 grams of ham.
• Salt to taste.


Preparation process:

• The first thing to do is to gather all the ingredients, and place them at our fingertips.

• One cup of warm water is added to a container, and the yeast is added with a pinch of sugar, and you must wait a few minutes for it to activate.

• In another container, mix the sugar, melted butter, milk and an egg until a fairly homogeneous mixture is obtained.

• In a separate container, add the flour in the form of a volcano, and add the activated yeast with a touch of salt and the mixture previously made in the center. It should be mixed very well until all ingredients are integrated and thus obtain a fairly homogeneous mixture. You must knead for 15 minutes until you achieve a soft and elastic dough, depending on the texture of the dough you can add more flour.

• Place the dough in a container and let it stand for a space of one hour to double its size.

• Once that time has elapsed, the dough is placed on a flat surface and previously floured, it begins to stretch giving it a circular shape, and then cut into triangles.

• Chop the ham very finely and then add it in the triangles, dipping its edges with a little beaten egg. And then they roll up to get the shape of horn or horn.

• Then the cachitos are placed on a tray with vegetable paper, and with the help of a brush they are painted with beaten egg on top. Then they are put into the oven previously heated to 180 degrees for a space of 15 minutes.
