A steemian's world food journal: Kushinoya Berlin with @knozaki2015

Hello Steemians,

it’s been such a long time since I last posted and now I am backkk with an exciting entry.

Guess what? Few days ago, we had meet-ups with @knozaki2015 in Berlin. If food and travel are your interests, you must have known @knozaki2015, he is also my most favorite blogger here on Steemit. We met exactly 3 days in a row and he showed us some of the best restaurants in Berlin. Knozaki is a very very nice guy, he is friendly, funny and most important, he is a food expert (he is truly is). Our first dinner was at … - a Japanese restaurant. Knozaki told me that this place offers one of the best Japanese food in Berlin, therefore I was so curious and eager. Now, let’s discover … together :)

… is a small, cozy restaurant on… street. Knozaki did not tell us what we would eat and only when we reached the destination did we find out what the menu was. The restaurant is famous for their Japanese style deep-fried skewers. We all ordered the “secret” menu with 15 chef’s choice skewers.

There are 3 kinds of dipping sauce

The first 2 skews are shrimp and pumpkin with cheese

I love the naturally sweet taste of fresh shrimp, and my son loves the pumpkin with cheese since it is so soft and sweet

Cheese stick and beef ^^ you can see Knozaki was taking picture on the opposite side, his phone is so lovely with these tiny stickers which are a masterpiece of his niece :P

The beef skew is okay :)

One of my favorite: salmon with mayonnaise sauce and salmon roe

everything is just melted down in my mouth, such a nice combination !!!

The scallop skew is also my favorite ( I always love scallop ^^)

Mushroom skews – the mushroom is quite aromatic

I forgot the name of this one, but it is fish, a special kind of fish and It tastes really good. Knozaki liked it too !

We decided to order two more: unagi (eel) and scallop skews

This is from Knozaki’s side :D He even finished a big bowl of rice :P

I love the dessert here, there were 2 scoops of ice cream (my favorite matcha and red bean) and vanilla mousse. The ice cream, especially matcha tastes delicious, the matcha flavor is strong, intense and aromatic. My son liked the mousse and he finished it by himself.

It was such a nice dinner. We had a great time with amazing food and exciting conversation about food. Thank you @knozaki2015 for showing us this interesting place. You really have a good taste haha.
