I made dandelion wine for the first time this year. I see i did somethings wrong. Next your I'll do better. Any more tips for dandelion wine?
Never tried Dandelion. You need to make sure you boil it at least for a moment before fermenting because there will be natural bacterial on it that will need to be killed. 99% of the time, the bad tastes that get into your wine are from outside bacteria. Try honey wine.
I made it into tea first. It was pritty simple. I was surprised it worked as good as it did. I'll post a blog on it this weekend.
Zach, Does a great job with this. You can also try and make hard cider, its a lot like making wine, but the process is completed a little faster!
Thanks. I haven't made hard cider yet....but I will at some point. Especially when our apple trees start really producing.
Def wanna see a video of the hard cider. I love it more than wine!
...nice...thanks mate....
You're welcome!
My wife is going to love this post! LOL
Fun Fact: Women get drunk faster from wine because of their water to fat ratio
LOL. Never heard that before. My wife loves our wine. :)
Well this is intriguing!! I think I might give this a bash. I have made it before but not quite like that!
You can do it man. 4 years ago I was a total newbie and today you cant tell my wine from the expensive stuff.
That's all the impetus I need!!
It sounds like these ingredients would make for some tasty wine... except maybe skip the skittles. Who wants to drink Yellow 6 Lake, Red 40 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake, Blue 2 Lake, Yellow 5, Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 1 Lake and Blue 1 in their wine?
Someone that wants a Skittle taste obviously
My family use to make lots of different kinds of wine when I was younger and I must say most of it was so bad you couldn't drink it but we was poor so we made do! Great post DR
