Restaurant Review: The Pyramid Cebu
Ancient concept fused with the modern design in the middle of a high traffic business place, these are only a few words that describes The Pyramid.
For those of you looking for the pyramid, the place is at Garden Bloc, I.T. Park, Lahug, Cebu City. If you have a car or rented one there are parking spaces near the pyramid. The location of the restaurant is accessible and there is no need to search for it (at night) the structure itself glows violet which makes it striking.
This is our 6th Valentine's Day together, I made reservations. This is one of the things we like to enjoy together, a short break from all the work, the stress and the responsibilities.
We had the chance to be early, this was a good thing for we had so much time, we had a nice stroll, taking pictures as well as admire the structure itself. In a world full of skyscrapers The Pyramid gives us a glimpse of the past and how things started out for structures that tower the skies back then.
Guest can choose from dine in or dine out, we had the privilege to dine in ( it comes with the reservation), it had quite the view. The interior design is well thought out, this is shown by the complimenting lights, the patterns on the diagonal walls, the location of the chandelier and the diamond cut windows gave elegance to the entire interior design.
During the reservation process, I pre-oreder one of the valentine's day set meal, which was the Tuscan Tomato Soup, Caesar Salad, Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Wings, 2 Glasses of Red Wine, 2 pcs of macarons.
The Tuscan Tomato Soup was with basil leaves and square cut bread sticks. The Caesar Salad was meaty with quarter cut boiled eggs, small strips of bacon and a dash of Parmesan. The Baby Back Ribs was grilled well with barbecue sauce and one grilled corn cob to add. Finally, the Chicken Wings are prepared fried with glaze with spicy flavor and fried potatoes to complement the chicken. The food was Amazing.
