Twistedly Soured Beef Soup for All Ages
The Ingredients:
In addition to the above ingredients are:
6-7 cups of water, 3tbsp of cooking oil, salt
***You can use 20g to 40g of Tamarind Powder, depending on your desired sourness.
You can also use other kinds of vegetables as desired.
PROCEDURES:
1. Mince and sautee the garlic with the cooking oil for 1 minute on medium heat.
2. Slice and dice the onions and toss them on the garlic for 1 minute.
3. Slice the tomatoes and add them to the pot.
4. Add the beef, salt, and half of the allocated ginger.
5. Cover the pot with lid and let it simmer until the meat is tender.
6. Once the meat is tender, add the water, tamarind powder, additional salt, and the remaining half of the ginger then let it boil for 5 minutes on high heat.
7. Add the vegetables one at a time; squash - eggplant - cabbage - spinach.
***When you opt to use harder kinds of vegetables like pumpkin, you can add them to the soup first until it get slightly tender before adding the remaining leafy vegetables.
Voila…THE SOURED BEEF SOUP
