RE: Sushi (# 1) – where has my revolving sushi gone?
I understand Your nostalgia about customer service as it was before. Progress does not stand still. Our life is changing rapidly. I love sushi ( or what we in Russia called "sushi" ) . It is possible that they are too different from Japanese sushi. But we love. We can also try and in fast food establishments and in specialized Japanese restaurants. My favorite sushi restaurant is called Tanuki 狸 or タヌキ. Thank you for sharing Your story for the contest #Culturevulture.I wish You good luck!
Thanks madlenfox. I don't think sushi is that different from country to country these days - perhaps the only difference is the availability of high quality fish. I'm sure Russia's is very good, especially the salmon roe. It's funny you mentioned fast food establishments - my next sushi post will be on that topic (partly). Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
