Lean Eats: Rushed Breakfast Edition Vs. Sunday Funday
After a couple months hiatus from Steemit, I am back.
My new job is slightly rushed in the mornings, so I'm not getting much time to cook my usual egg white breakfast with fruit, but that's ok, as long as you have a blender.
The night before, take a banana, one cup of egg whites (pasteurized or else you'll get sick), a half cup of whole oats, a spoon of peanut butter, and a scoop of your preferred protein powder (chocolate is a good flavor for this, though), mix it all up in a blender, stow it in the fridge and boom. All you gotta do in the morning is grab and consume while you get ready for work.
This is a very big breakfast. About 705 calories, so make sure you have the caloric room before cramming this into your regimen. You can also cut out some of the items like oats or peanut butter if you're getting enough carbs or fat in other parts of your daily intake. I've been adding a small spoonful of cinnamon to mine lately because it's 0 calories and has some potential health benefits that will take up another 10 pages to go into full detail. It also tastes great.
63 grams protein, 72 grams carbs, 20 grams fat.
...but that's not what I do on Sunday.
You need at least one day with some bacon in your life.
Down some orange juice with it to minimize nitrosamine production in your stomach. Google it, your body will thank you later.
I'll try to post more often again. Lots of projects to share again. I have a new snake, and I'm raising four baby Chinese mantids (that's plural for mantis, for those who wish to know), and of course I'll keep up the fitness posts.
And since I haven't shown you guys any of my cats lately, here is a picture of a cat tree, made with real cats.
Ciao for now.
so cute your cats and nice breakfast
